Earthquake Near Bavra Village Felt in Several Villages of Shirak Province
On February 6, at 04:16 local time (00:16 Greenwich Mean Time), the seismic network of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations recorded an earthquake in the Armenia-Georgia border area, 10 kilometers northeast of Bavra village, at geographic coordinates 41.15⁰ North latitude and 43.92⁰ East longitude, with a depth of 10 kilometers and a magnitude of 3.1.
The intensity of the ground shaking in the epicentral zone was measured at 4 points.
The earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra, Saragyugh, Ghazanchi, and Ashotsk in Shirak Province with an intensity of 3 points.
