The Historical Fortress of Gaziantep Also Destroyed by Earthquake
The historical fortress of Gaziantep has also been destroyed due to the earthquake. The fortress dates back to the 2nd century AD and was built by the Romans.
It is worth noting that a 7.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in southeastern Turkey late at night, near the border with Syria, in the Kahramanmaraş province.
