Road Situation in Armenia as of 17:30: Lars Closed Again

The Road Department informs that as of 17:30, snow is falling in the regions of Aparan and Ashotsk.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for vehicles with trailers.

Other interstate and national highways remain open.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Service and the Crisis Management Center of Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for trucks.

Drivers are advised to use winter tires exclusively.
