Arakel Movsesyan's Son, Known as 'Shmays', Arrested
On February 5, around 02:40, operational information was received by the Central Division of the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding a fight and brawl occurring near the well-known 'Royal' club on Vardanants Street.
According to Shamshyan.com, a group of young individuals were arrested on suspicion of engaging in hooliganism and were taken to the police station. The young people include 20-year-old Mikhail Manukyan and 32-year-old Ararat Martirosyan from Yerevan, 32-year-old Tigran Gevorgyan from Vayots Dzor Province, and 22-year-old Davit Movsesyan and 23-year-old Azat Vardanian from Armavir Province. The latter are suspected of exhibiting open disrespect towards society during the altercation at the specified address, hurling insults at each other and exchanging blows.
Among the participants, D. Movsesyan is the son of former National Assembly member Arakel Movsesyan, who is known by the nickname 'Shmays'.
