Work on the Establishment of a Natural Gas Distribution and Trade Center in Turkey is Approaching Completion: Donmez
Work on the establishment of an international gas hub in Turkey has entered its final phase. The first commercial transaction is scheduled to take place this year, in 2023.
According to TASS, Turkey's Minister of Energy Fatih Donmez stated this.
"The work on the establishment of a natural gas distribution and trade center in Turkey is nearing completion. We are preparing to conduct the first commercial operation this year," said the minister.
Donmez also mentioned that negotiations have been held with several countries regarding participation in the project to establish the center. "All representatives of the countries we have discussed this issue with have expressed their readiness to support the project," he added.
