Armenia's Top Export Partners in January Revealed
Armenia exported goods worth $572.8 million in January 2023, marking a 2.3-fold increase compared to January of the previous year. This is according to the data published by the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
The country’s largest export destination in January was Russia, with exports totaling $354.9 million, which increased by 5.2 times compared to January of the previous year. The United Arab Emirates followed as the second-largest export destination, with Armenia exporting goods worth $46.6 million, an increase of 14.1 times from the previous year.
China ranked third with exports amounting to $40.5 million, representing a 12 percent growth compared to the previous year. Additionally, significant exports were made to the Netherlands, reaching $30.2 million, which is a 29.5 percent increase from January 2022. Exports to Iraq also grew by 25.5 percent, totaling $19.6 million.
