Massive Protest in London Marks the Largest Strike in a Decade

A major strike has commenced in central London, marking the largest protest in the UK in a decade. Members of the National Education Union are opposing new legislation that establishes a minimum level of service during strikes, while advocating for increased wages. According to reports from Life, footage of the strike has spread across social media.

Judging by the video, hundreds of thousands of people have taken to the streets, holding signs. Among the slogans are: "Teachers are at risk of disappearing," "We support our teachers: Fair pay for all," and "Pay up!"

The protest has drawn participants from across the country, including various workers such as teachers, university staff, civil servants, and railway workers. Due to record inflation, lawyers, postal workers, and other employees have also joined the demonstrations.
