Crimean Authorities Nationalize Assets of Ukrainian Oligarchs Akhmetov and Kolomoisky

The authorities in Crimea have decided to nationalize the assets of Ukrainian oligarchs Rinat Akhmetov and Igor Kolomoisky, announced Vladimir Konstantinov, the chairman of the Crimean parliament. This was reported by Kp.ru.

As the legislator clarified on his Telegram channel, Akhmetov will lose the "Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant" LLC, the "Central Ore Dressing Combine" LLC including the ownership of the "Gornyak" sanatorium, and the "Kharkov Miner’s Light" Machine-Building Plant LLC.

Regarding Kolomoisky, his assets in the TRANSPORT LOGISTIC LLC are subject to nationalization in Crimea. Additionally, the company "Envil" LLC, owned by Kolomoisky's daughter, as well as properties of several Ukrainian banks and factories, such as the "Alma Construction Materials Plant" LLC and the "Kamish-Burun" Iron Ore Plant LLC, will also be nationalized.

According to Konstantinov, it is morally important for Crimea to halt the operations of Ukrainian businesses, but this does not mean the closure of the enterprises themselves. He explained that they will have new management and introduced temporary administrations. Subsequently, privatization will be carried out, and they will operate under Russian legislation, added the Crimean parliament chairman.
