Now We Know They Are Brothers of Armenia: Pashazadeh on Iran
We brought martyrs from Iran, which we considered fraternal. Now we know that they are not our brothers; they are Armenia's brothers.
Such a statement was made by Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, addressing the incident at the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran, during which an Azerbaijani citizen was killed.
“We condemn the terrorist act that took place at the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran. We brought martyrs from Iran, which we considered fraternal. Now we know that they are not our brothers; they are Armenia's brothers. As President Ilham Aliyev stated, the events that occurred were a terrorist act. The matter should be thoroughly investigated, and the world should know the truth. There are about 40 million Azerbaijanis in Iran who are prisoners of the regime,” Pashazadeh said.
