Sergey Lavrov and Jeyhun Bayramov Held Phone Conversation: What Was Discussed

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov, and the head of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Jeyhun Bayramov, have held a phone conversation. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

“Moscow is ready to organize negotiations between the foreign ministries of Armenia and Azerbaijan regarding the draft peace treaty,” informs the Russian Foreign Ministry.

It is noted that during the phone call, the foreign ministers of the two countries also discussed the regulation of the situation surrounding the Lachin corridor.

Earlier today, it was reported that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Prime Minister Pashinyan addressed the humanitarian crisis created in Nagorno-Karabakh due to Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor, emphasizing the need for necessary actions by Russia to overcome this situation.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the implementation of trilateral agreements signed by the leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan on November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, November 26, 2021, and October 31, 2022.
