Military Book of Missing Soldier Vahe Torosyan Found Near Body Transferred by Azerbaijan
The body of a fallen Armenian soldier transferred by Azerbaijan on January 27 was found near the military book of Vahe Torosyan, a soldier missing since the September battles. This information was shared with News.am by Vahe's father, Aram Torosyan.
Vahe's father was informed that the results of the identification process will be known in one or two days.
“The body is unrecognizable. A phone and his military book were found nearby, but we are still waiting for the results of the DNA tests,” he stated.
It should be noted that the body was retrieved from the direction of Nerkhin Hand. Vahe had contacted a friend in an injured state on September 15, explaining that he was in Nerkhin Hand.
It is worth recalling that after the September battles, three soldiers were considered missing, and currently only two remain unaccounted for. The death toll for the Armenian side due to the Azerbaijani attack on September 13-14 has reached 224.
