Death Toll Rises in Pakistan Mosque Terror Attack
The death toll from the terrorist attack at a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan has risen to 90. This information was reported by Radio Pakistan. Initially, reports indicated that there were 72 victims.
“The number of casualties from the explosion in Peshawar has reached 90, with rescue operations ongoing and the rubble of the mosque being cleared,” the radio station reported.
The explosion occurred on Monday, January 30, during prayer time. According to eyewitnesses, there were more than 100 people inside the mosque. Part of the mosque collapsed, including the roof of the building.
The attack was carried out by a suicide bomber.
