Investigation Launched to Identify Body of Armenian Soldier Transferred from Azerbaijan

On January 27, a judicial genetic examination has been appointed to identify the body of an Armenian soldier who was killed and transferred from Azerbaijan to Armenia. The identification process is currently ongoing, according to Gor Abrahamyan, spokesperson for the Investigative Committee of Armenia, in a conversation with 24News.

It was previously reported that the Azerbaijani side had transferred the body of an Armenian soldier who was killed during the clashes in the direction of Nerkhin Hand on September 13-14, 2022. After the September clashes in the regions of Syunik, Gegharkunik, and Vayots Dzor, three soldiers were considered missing.
