Defense Ministry on the Health Condition of Injured Soldier

On January 29, due to apparent violations of weapon usage regulations, a serviceman of the Ministry of Defense's N military unit, A. A., sustained a gunshot wound and was transferred to the Yerevan Military Central Hospital for surgery. This was stated in an interview with News.am by Defense Ministry spokesperson Aram Torosyan.

“The condition is continuously assessed as extremely critical, and he is under the care of doctors,” he said. The ministry had previously reported that on January 29, the serviceman A. A. was injured due to apparent violations of weapon usage regulations. The soldier's condition is deemed extremely critical.
