Iran Targeted During Earthquake Recovery Efforts, Expert Says

Anti-Iranian media outlets are currently attempting to exaggerate drone attacks on Iran, showcasing the country as allegedly defenseless and inciting panic. However, according to available information, Iran’s air defense has been operating as efficiently as possible, and the damaged sites are not of significant strategic importance to Iran's defense system. This was stated by Iranian scholar Vardan Voskanyan on his Telegram channel.

“It is noteworthy that our neighboring and friendly country was attacked precisely at the moment when Iran's rescue services were engaged in the recovery efforts following the earthquake in Khoy,” he wrote.
