Another Earthquake in Iran Felt in Armenia

On January 29, at 18:41 local time (14:41 GMT), the Seismological Network of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations registered an earthquake in Iran, located 22 km south of Khoi city, at geographic coordinates 38.35° N latitude and 44.98° E longitude, with a depth of 10 km and a magnitude of 5.0.

The intensity of the underground tremors in the epicentral area reached 6-7 on the scale. The earthquake was felt in the Syunik province at a magnitude of 3-4, in the Vayots Dzor province at a magnitude of 3, and in the Ararat province at 2-3.
