Details on the Fire That Broke Out in the 'Dream' Neighborhood: What We Know
On January 20, at 17:37, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting a fire in one of the apartments of building number 6/2 on Adontzi Street, Yerevan.
Two firefighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Yerevan rescue division were dispatched to the scene, along with a duty group from the fire suppression and rescue operations organizing department. The fire was classified as complexity level "1 BIS." Additionally, two more firefighting units and an operational group from the National Crisis Management Center were sent to the location.
It was determined that the fire had originated in one of the apartments on the third floor of building number 6/5 on Adontzi Street. One civilian (D. M., born in 1959) was injured as a result of the fire.
Rescuers evacuated 20 residents from the building, including four children. The fire was contained by 18:25 and extinguished by 18:55. The apartment (47 sqm) was completely destroyed.
