Child's Claims of Feces and Dirt Consumption in Kindergarten Cannot Be a Product of Imagination
The investigation into the scandalous case of alleged abuses against a child attending kindergarten No. 124 has been ongoing for more than a year, yet the representatives of the victim's side claim that nothing is being done visibly. In an interview with Aravot.am, the representative of the victim, Inesa Petrosyan, stated, “The investigator has been changed, and in essence, no investigative actions have been carried out. We are not being informed about the protocols of the investigative actions and have very limited information; the investigation has been stuck for several months now. I even contacted the prosecutor to clarify this, and they responded that procedural actions are being conducted, but what actions are unclear at this point. For us, nothing visible is happening yet.”
Petrosyan pointed out that during the course of the initiated criminal proceedings, an expert conclusion was obtained confirming that the child's claims could not be a product of imagination. When asked whether it has been confirmed that the child's descriptions took place specifically in the kindergarten and not elsewhere, the attorney replied, “The child detailed specific events and where they occurred.”
Inesa Petrosyan rules out the possibility that the child’s account could have happened in another location. The attorney for the accused, Yenok Azaryan, has also stopped responding to phone calls.
