"Artsakh Proves That Your Self-Sacrifice Has Made Us Strong and Unyielding" - Ruben Vardanyan

Today, Artsakh, which withstands numerous trials, proves that your selfless dedication and self-sacrifice have made us strong and unyielding. This was stated by the Minister of State of Artsakh, Ruben Vardanyan, on his Facebook page.

"Today we celebrate the 31st anniversary of the formation of the Armenian National Army. This is truly a very important and significant holiday for all of us Armenians. The role and significance of the Armenian army is undeniable in ensuring the defense of the Republic of Armenia and, of course, in keeping Artsakh Armenian, which is a guarantee for the protection of the Armenian world," he emphasized.

He noted that many volunteers from the Armenian army have selflessly fought and defended Artsakh in the wars unleashed by Azerbaijan, preventing the ethnic cleansing policy directed against the people of Artsakh. "I pay my respects to those who dedicated their lives for the homeland. Today, Artsakh, which withstands numerous trials, proves that your selfless dedication and self-sacrifice have made us strong and unyielding," he stated.

Vardanyan concluded his message with the words of Vazgen Sargsyan, the first Minister of Defense of the Armenian army, directed at all of us: "The army is the mirror of the nation's self-awareness, it is the birth of all Armenians, it is the collective image of the Armenian people, its responsibility, its reevaluation of history, and its gaze into the future. I am not saying beautiful words; I am simply stating the truth," he emphasized.
