Trump Claims He Could End Ukraine Conflict in 24 Hours

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has asserted that he could negotiate a cessation of hostilities in Ukraine within 24 hours. 

“If I were president, there would be no war between Russia and Ukraine. But even now, as a former president, I could agree to end this horrible war in 24 hours,” Newsweek quoted Trump as saying.

Trump warned that the situation in Ukraine could escalate into World War III. It is noteworthy that on the early morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the decision to launch a special military operation in Ukraine, citing requests for assistance from the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics. Fighting in Ukraine has been ongoing for 336 days now.
