Russian Ministry of Defense on the Situation Surrounding the Lachin Corridor

The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to fulfill its assigned tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh. This information was released by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that the Russian peacekeepers are conducting around-the-clock monitoring of the situation at 30 observation posts and are overseeing the ceasefire regime.

"The command of the contingent continues negotiations with the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides regarding the restoration of vehicle traffic along the Stepanakert-Goris road," the statement said.

Patrols have been carried out in the Martuni and Martakert regions and the Lachin corridor. The message also mentioned that Russian peacekeepers have escorted a humanitarian convoy along the Goris-Stepanakert route.
