3 Patients Transferred from Artsakh to Armenia

Due to the blockade of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia by Azerbaijan, three patients have been transferred today, January 27, from the Artsakh Ministry of Health's Republican Medical Center to various specialized medical centers in Armenia. The patients were diagnosed with "Gastric antral cancer with regional lymph node involvement," "Left breast cancer," and "Bilateral knee valgus deformity, post-hemiepiphysiodesis condition" through the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Planned surgeries continue to be suspended in healthcare facilities operating under the jurisdiction of the Artsakh Ministry of Health. In the Arevik Medical Center, 9 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units. At the Republican Medical Center, 16 patients are in the intensive care unit, 6 of whom are in extremely critical condition. To date, a total of 49 patients have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia through the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
