Condition of One Soldier Worsened, Minister Says

In Gegharkunik, following a fire that broke out in the barracks of an engineering battalion, three soldiers receiving treatment at the National Burn Center do not face a threat to their lives. This was reported by the Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan during a briefing with journalists after the government meeting.

“We had a slight deterioration in the health condition of one of the three soldiers two days ago. However, a consultative council was convened, and as a result, changes were made to the treatment, stabilizing the condition. Currently, all patients' conditions are assessed as satisfactory,” the minister stated.

According to her, the soldiers are still receiving the necessary volume of assistance, and they hope that everyone will return home healthy. Avanesyan also mentioned that she returned from a business trip last night and plans to visit the burn victims today.
