Protesters Block Route to Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine

Early this morning, around 7:30 AM, approximately fifty residents of Kajaran organized a protest in front of the administrative building of the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine, according to reports from Araavot.

According to the source, the protesters initially blocked the road leading to the combine, preventing employees from entering the area by vehicle. Following negotiations with the police, the road was subsequently reopened.

The demonstrators are demanding compensation for health restoration for the residents of Kajaran, job placements for young men discharged from the army, and the rehiring of those laid off in 2021.
