Homemade Gas Boiler Explodes, One Injured
On January 22, at 20:22, the Lori regional crisis management center received a report that an explosion occurred in the heating system of one of the houses on 35th Street of the Arjut Station, without fire outbreak; there is one injured, the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Rescue Service reports.
Two firefighting units from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the explosion was caused by a homemade gas boiler, without a fire outbreak.
Rescuers assisted A. M. (born in 1971) and transported him to an ambulance. The injured was hospitalized at Vanadzor Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as serious.
The rescuers have closed the valves of the gas stove and the heating boiler. We urge everyone to remain vigilant.
