Meeting of the Headquarters Held Under the Leadership of Ruben Vardanyan
Today, a meeting of the operational headquarters was held under the leadership of Ruben Vardanyan, the state minister of the Republic of Artsakh. A number of urgent issues were discussed.
The current situation regarding the transition to a coupon system was presented. It was noted that alongside the implementation of the system, problems related to the process are being revealed, with rapid responses from supervisory and control bodies to citizens' alerts (such as in the case of one type of supplied rice), and efforts are being made to provide solutions as quickly as possible.
Overall, considering the process of implementing the system positively, the state minister instructed to summarize and present the issues that have arisen during the process.
The operational headquarters also called on all citizens to obtain coupons for the sale of five types of food products to ensure that supplies are carried out within the relevant thresholds.
During the meeting, the current situation regarding energy and gas supply was also presented. It was noted that due to interference from the Azerbaijani side in disrupting the only high-voltage power line supplying Artsakh from Armenia and the periodic disconnections of gas supply, serious issues have arisen regarding electricity supply.
Currently, the actual supply of electricity is being managed through the limited internal resources of Artsakh, which has led to a heavy load on the system and an increase in the number of accidents. In this situation, sector officials urge the population to use electricity as sparingly as possible.
Additionally, the current situation in the markets for medicines, gasoline, and diesel fuel was reported during the meeting.
