Eight Children in Neonatal and Resuscitation Units of Artsakh Children’s Hospital
Eight children are currently in the neonatal and resuscitation units of the children’s hospital in Artsakh. According to the information provided by the Artsakh information headquarters, 12 adult patients are in the resuscitation unit, four of whom are in extremely critical condition.
As reported, a total of 154 children have been born during the blockade. Due to the suspension of planned surgeries in all medical facilities operating under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh, 470 citizens have been deprived of the opportunity to address health issues through surgical interventions.
To date, 36 patients have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia through the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross for appropriate treatment.
