Azerbaijan Has Again Completely Halted Gas Supply to Artsakh
The Azerbaijani side has once again completely blocked the only gas pipeline coming from Armenia to Artsakh. This was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.
“With temperatures reaching -5 degrees Celsius in Artsakh, the recent disconnection of natural gas for the umpteenth time clearly demonstrates that official Baku is conducting an overtly terrorist policy against the 120,000 civilians trapped in Artsakh, with the acquiescence of the international community,” the statement read.
It is noteworthy that earlier, on January 9, the Azerbaijani side's interference also disrupted the only high-voltage line of 110 kV from Goris to Stepanakert, depriving the residents of Artsakh of a stable electricity supply.
Given the current weather conditions, electricity supply is being managed through Artsakh's internally limited resources, resulting in daily power outages lasting already 6 hours, a trend that is expected to continue increasing.
