Surik Papikyan to Sue the Author of Controversial Post

As reported earlier, images of luxurious villas have been circulating online since yesterday, which, according to rumors, allegedly belong to Defense Minister Surik Papikyan.

Auroranews has contacted the press secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Aram Torosyan, who stated in an interview, "The images of the villas circulating online and the claims that they allegedly belong to the Minister of Defense are absolutely false and do not correspond to reality."

According to Irakanum.am, Surik Papikyan is preparing to file a lawsuit regarding the user's post. In response to a query from the media, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Aram Torosyan, mentioned, "Today, a Facebook user made a post claiming that a ‘several million dollar’ villa belongs to Surik Papikyan. Associated with this post were also images of villas that have no connection to Surik Papikyan, along with information that discredits the minister’s person and public activity, which is entirely inconsistent with reality. We urge the Facebook user and the media outlet that published the post to refute this fabricated information as required by law."

At the same time, Torosyan noted, "Surik Papikyan is preparing to file the appropriate lawsuit in court regarding the mentioned post."
