"Iran is Making a Huge Mistake": Pashazade on the Sister City Designation of Yerevan and Tehran

My attitude towards the issue of Tehran and Yerevan becoming sister cities is negative.

According to Trend, Allahshukur Pashazade, the head of the Caucasus Muslims Office, stated this to journalists on Friday.

He noted that Iran is making a grave mistake in the history of Islam, and this is unforgivable.

“I am in favor of normal relations with all countries. I hope that Iran will also recognize its mistake. Iran should not take steps against Azerbaijan,” Pashazade said.

It is noteworthy that Yerevan and Tehran have been designated as sister cities.
