Gas Prices in Europe Begin to Rise
Gas prices in Europe have risen by 10%, driven by an increase in demand due to cold weather conditions, despite the fact that gas storage levels in the region are significantly higher than seasonal norms. Currently, liquefied natural gas is being imported, reports Bloomberg.
It is also noted that gas supplies from Norway remain limited due to technical maintenance. As a result, the price of February futures at the Netherlands TTF hub has reached €66.8 per MWh, or $759.7 per thousand cubic meters, based on the current exchange rate. This information is corroborated by ICE exchange data as of 19:56 Yerevan time.
