There is No Internal Political Crisis in Artsakh and Such a Thing Should Not Be Allowed: Araik Harutyunyan

The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, met with members of parliament on January 16. The country’s leader spoke about the consequences of the blockade that has lasted more than a month and the measures being taken to address internal and external challenges.

According to President Harutyunyan, maintaining internal unity is very important in this context, emphasizing the collective work being carried out by parliamentary forces during these days.

Addressing the heated discussions in recent days regarding the internal political life of Artsakh in the media and social networks, President Harutyunyan stated that he would refrain from commenting on the existing speculations, adding that he can only firmly say that there is no internal political crisis in Artsakh and such a thing should not be allowed. He indicated a clear understanding that the main agenda is to overcome the urgent problems that have arisen and to bring Artsakh out of this situation.

In this context, he stressed that only after overcoming the crisis caused by the blockade will it be possible to address the issues of systemic solutions to internal political problems.
