Recovered Citizen Returns to Artsakh
One of the residents of Artsakh, who was transferred to Armenia for treatment, has returned to Artsakh after receiving appropriate medical care through the mediation of the Red Cross. This was stated by Zara Amatuni, head of the communication and prevention program of the ICRC delegation in Armenia, in a conversation with News.am today, January 17.
“Recently, a recovered Artsakh resident returned to Artsakh with two companions. The process of transferring recovered patients back to Artsakh operates in the same way. In other words, there must be a request for return, and based on that, we offer our mediation, coordinating and supporting with the parties,” Amatuni noted.
It should be noted that until today, a total of 28 patients have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
