350 Million USD for Expanding Zvartnots Airport: Investment Program Under Discussion

The expansion of Zvartnots Airport was presented by the Armenia International Airports CJSC as an investment program, expected to be implemented over the next five years. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, Armen Simonyan, during a session of the National Assembly.

He emphasized that the investment involves an equivalent of 350 million USD. “The issue has been discussed in the public investment committee. There are certain questions regarding the concession agreement that need to be examined,” Simonyan stated.

He stressed that discussions need to continue, and after all the studies are conducted, government representatives will provide updates.
