No Decision Yet on Which Companies Will Participate in Armenia-Turkey Air Cargo Transport

Currently, there is no decision on which companies will participate in the air cargo transport between Armenia and Turkey. This was stated today, January 11, during the discussion of the draft amendments to the law on ‘Aviation’ at the meeting of the Economic Affairs Committee of the National Assembly by Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Armen Simonyan, in response to a question from Sisak Gabrielyan, a member of the ‘Civil Contract’ faction.

According to him, the flights are likely to be carried out on a parity basis. However, it is still unclear how these transports will be organized and which companies will be directly involved, from both sides. “Once we have a clearer picture, we will be able to discuss several options at once,” said Simonyan.
