Scandals of the Royal Family: Prince Harry's Book to Be Released on January 10
British websites report that the book, yet to be released, is already claiming to be a bestseller. Prince Harry's autobiography, titled “Spare,” will make its debut in bookstores for the first time.
When Harry was born, his father, the current King Charles III, told his former wife, Princess Diana, “Wonderful! You’ve given me one heir and one spare. You’ve fulfilled your duty.”
According to announcements, the main themes of the work will be love and grief. Harry will share how he coped with his mother's death and how his life unfolded after the tragedy.
“I am writing this not as a prince, for the role I was born into, but as the man I have become. I hope that by sharing my story — the highs and lows, mistakes and lessons learned — I can show that regardless of where we come from, we have far more in common than we think,” the prince stated.
Penguin Random House has announced that Prince Harry's memoirs will detail the life of the Duke of Sussex and the decision to step back from the British royal family, carrying the title “Spare.”
The book will be published in English and 15 other languages, excluding Russian. The book, which will hit shelves across the world in just a few hours, will be sold at £28 per copy. It has been noted that a key question concerns the details disclosed about life experiences.
British newspapers have already reported some details based on Harry’s accounts. He specifically claims that during a moment alone with him, his older brother, Prince William, began hurling insults at American actress Meghan Markle, referring to Harry's wife as “rude and unpleasant.” He then allegedly pulled his younger brother’s collar and knocked him to the ground.
Now, if William has decided not to respond to his brother’s writings in any way, who can truly assert whether such an incident occurred or not?
It has been reported that a portion of the proceeds from the memoir will be donated to several charitable organizations.
