Video: New Footage of Unrest in Brazil

Supporters of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro held a protest on January 8th against the results of the presidential elections, demanding a review of the outcomes. As previously reported, the demonstrators stormed the buildings of Parliament, the court, and the presidential residence.

More than 400 protesters have been detained. Current President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has declared a state of emergency until the end of January.
