VIDEO: What Will We Do If Azerbaijani 'Environmentalists' Do Not Open the Road? Pashinyan's Response to Auroranews

As a state leader, can you envision how this issue will be resolved? What will we do if Azerbaijani 'environmentalists' do not open the road? In response to Auroranews.am's question, Pashinyan noted that he would make sharp statements.

"In this context, I will make a series of statements that will be sharp. However, we must approach them with a working mindset. What does Azerbaijan want? For example, there is an opinion that Azerbaijan wants to eliminate the Armenian state. You can see the discourse Azerbaijan is developing. When we try to understand why Azerbaijan behaves this way, there are experts who say Azerbaijan behaves this way because it believes that the Armenians, in their turn, want to eliminate the Azerbaijani state," Pashinyan said.

Pashinyan pointed out that Azerbaijan continuously promotes hate speech, even at the educational level.

"What is our vision? In general, the situation of the Lachin corridor is written in black and white. I want to sadly note that many are now referring to the November 9 statement, while on November 10, many considered it unacceptable. This provocation aims to break the will of the residents of Artsakh to live in their own homeland and, secondly, to draw Armenia into a larger provocation. We must capitalize on this international response. Here, the position of the Russian Federation is very important. If it turns out that Russia cannot fulfill this obligation, it must turn to the UN Security Council to endow Russian peacekeepers with a mandate or to send international peacekeepers. This is our route.

The next point is that our response to all this should be asymmetric. We must not deviate from our state's institutional agenda," he stated.
