VIDEO: Has Armenia Issued an Ultimatum to Russia? Pashinyan Responds
What is happening in the Lachin corridor aims to break the will of the people of Artsakh to live in their homeland. This was stated today by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a press conference.
"We believe that our toolkit should be diplomatic, that is, to exert as much international pressure as possible on the issue of opening the Lachin corridor. The sixth point of the statement of November 9, 2020, imposes legal obligations on Russia and Azerbaijan regarding the Lachin corridor. In this regard, our actions should be legitimate," said Pashinyan.
He recalled that in 2022, Armenia provided more than 170 billion drams in support to Artsakh and will continue to provide support.
Regarding circulating rumors that Armenia has issued an ultimatum to Russia regarding the Lachin corridor, Pashinyan responded that he does not think it is appropriate to speak in ultimatums with partners. He added that what they had to say regarding the current situation has already been stated publicly.
