Spy Device Found in British Government Officials' Car, Media Reports
A spy device has been discovered in a British government vehicle. This was revealed during inspections of the vehicles used by the UK government and diplomatic services, as reported by inews, citing a source from the kingdom's security service.
The surveillance device was found by intelligence officers while disassembling the vehicles in response to growing concerns about espionage programs. It resembles a SIM card that allows tracking of the vehicle's movements and transmitting data to China.
According to British intelligence, the device was located in one of the hermetic parts of the vehicle, which was imported from a Chinese supplier and installed by the manufacturer.
Chinese officials have dismissed reports of such findings as "baseless and empty news," asserting that China is categorically against political manipulation of economic and trade cooperation and any accusations against Chinese enterprises.
