Vitaly Balasanyan Removed from Position of Secretary of Artsakh Security Council, Ararat Melikyan Appointed

The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, signed several decrees on January 7.

According to the decrees, Vitaly Balasanyan has been removed from the position of Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh. Ararat Melikyan has been appointed as the Secretary of the Security Council.

In another decree on the same day, General Major Ararat Melikyan was also relieved from his position as the First Deputy Director of the National Security Service of Artsakh due to transitioning to another job.
