Snow Falling in Some Regions of Armenia; Lars Closed to Trucks - Ministry of Emergency Situations

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and Kary Lake are closed. Snow is falling in the Aparan region, in the city of Jermuk, and on the Saravan-Zanger road section.

According to information received from the Emergencies Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepanstminida-Lars road is closed to trucks. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
