Fog in the Saravan-Zanger Section; Lars Open, Reports Ministry of Emergency Situations

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn province to the Amberd Fortress and the Kar lake are closed. There is black ice in places at the Vardenyats mountain pass. Snow is falling in the city of Jermuk, Vayots Dzor province. In the Saravan-Zanger section, there is fog.

As for Lars, according to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the North Ossetian crisis management center of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
