VIDEO: Albanian Shoots at Serbs in Kosovo, Including an 11-Year-Old Child Among the Injured
In the village of Gotovushë, Kosovo, an Albanian opened fire from a vehicle, injuring two Serbs, including an 11-year-old boy. According to the Kosovo and Metohija office, the victims are cousins who were walking along the roadside while carrying the Serbian Christmas symbol, the badnjak (oak branches), as reported by RT.
"This is a clear attempt to kill innocent Serbian children who were simply carrying the badnjak and thereby explicitly showing that they are Serbs," says the statement from the department.
The injured have been hospitalized with gunshot wounds, but their lives are not in danger. Following the incident, local residents blocked the roads demanding the arrest of the armed individual. The Kosovo police have arrived at the scene.
