Police Notice Three Citizens Unconscious; One Dies in Hospital

Today, January 6, a murder occurred in Yerevan. Around 4:30 PM, police officers from the 1st platoon of the 4th division of the Patrol Service of the Yerevan police were on duty at the intersection of Rubinyants and Paruyr Sevak streets when they noticed that three citizens were unconscious in front of the "Degusto" fast-food outlet on Paruyr Sevak Street.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the officers transported one of the injured individuals in their service vehicle to Izmirlian Medical Center, while they called emergency services for the other two victims, who were also transferred to Izmirlian Medical Center by the responding medical team.

Senior Inspector Harutyun Grigoryan of the Yerevan patrol service and Deputy Commander of the 4th division Karen Avetisyan found blood-like traces and a white shirt at the scene, which were secured under their supervision. Blood-like traces were discovered in front of "Degusto," leading to Paruyr Sevak Street, which was also secured by the police.

While the area was being cordoned off and the police were carrying out their duties, a call was received from the hospital that one of the injured individuals had died, while doctors were fighting for the lives of the other two.

A criminal case has been initiated by the investigative department under the characteristics of murder, where the identities of the deceased and the injured are being clarified.

Considering the degree of danger posed by the crime, Deputy Prosecutor of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun Administrative Districts Artur Arakelyan, along with Senior Prosecutors Armen Yeritsyan and Davit Baghdasaryan, arrived at the scene.

Just recently, Yerevan patrol officers received operational information that another individual related to the incident was transported to Hospital No. 8. His identity is also being clarified.

Notice: A suspect or defendant in the alleged crime is considered innocent until proven guilty in accordance with the procedures established by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia, with a legally binding judgment from the court.
