The issue of operating Stepanakert Airport is not within Russia's jurisdiction. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a press briefing, in response to a question about whether it is possible to operate it to mitigate humanitarian crises in Artsakh.

Referring to the possibility of discussing the unblocking of the Lachin corridor in the format of the Minsk Group, the diplomat noted that it is not Russia that is obstructing the work of the Minsk Group co-chairmanship.

Regarding the criticisms directed at the Russian peacekeeping mission, she stated that these are unacceptable. They are doing everything possible to stabilize the situation on the ground. Any public criticism does not help the situation. There have been worse circumstances. We are doing everything we can to improve the situation.
