We Are in a Quite Difficult Situation Without Exaggeration: Ruben Vardanyan
The State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, Ruben Vardanyan, held meetings with wholesale and retail business operators, as well as owners and representatives of restaurants and public catering establishments, to hear their issues and discuss the potential implementation of certain regulations in the current crisis situation.
The State Minister expressed gratitude to the entrepreneurs for their understanding and dignified behavior, noting that there have not been any signs of inflation in Artsakh in the context of product shortages. He stated, “I know you are working under difficult conditions and are forced to find solutions to various issues. I expect to hear your opinions and proposals, which will help us make more accurate decisions. Without exaggeration, I must say that we are in quite a difficult situation. But we, the authorities and the people, must walk this path together. There is no other option for overcoming this. For this, mutual understanding, respect, and transparent work are very important, so that you do not feel a sense of injustice. This is a principled approach for us.”
He emphasized that the government is open to hearing any opinions and suggestions, discussing, correcting mistakes, and together finding the solutions that will be the most optimal in these realities.
The participants of the meeting, in turn, noted that they understand the situation very well and are ready to support the government in every possible way. During the meeting with representatives of public catering establishments, the possibility of applying certain restrictions was discussed. It was mentioned that due to the shortage of food products and the necessity of saving electricity, there has arisen a need to impose certain restrictions related to the holding of large-scale events and celebrations.
The meeting participants assured that they fully understand the situation and recognize that the restrictions are based on objective realities. Some participants even informed that, given the situation, they have already made such decisions on their own initiative. They also presented their proposals, emphasizing that they are ready to work with the government to jointly overcome the difficulties.
