In 2023, We Will Present New Charges Against Armenia: Bayramov
During 2022, the International Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights took measures against Armenia based on appeals from the Azerbaijani side, and these actions are ongoing. This was announced by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a press conference dedicated to the results of the year, as reported by APA.
According to him, this month Azerbaijan has filed a new interstate lawsuit against Armenia concerning the "burning and destruction of hundreds of residential buildings between May and August 2022, when Armenians were leaving the city of Lachin and the adjacent two villages, for which compensation for damages is sought."
“These processes have their specific characteristics. Starting from the beginning of 2023, we will present new charges against Armenia for causing damage to Azerbaijan's environment and nature, as well as for the illegal exploitation of energy and natural resources,” Bayramov said.
