Individual Taxi Drivers Must Get Licensed: How to Apply
Just days ago, we reported that individual taxi drivers are required to obtain licenses. The Inspection Body for Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety has urged drivers to get licensed by December 15, or face fines. According to this appeal, by entering the licensing framework, individual taxi drivers will not have tax obligations, but will be required to have a sign on their vehicle and display a minimum fare.
It should be noted that a fine of 50,000 drams is stipulated for conducting unlicensed activities, and for repeating this offense a second or third time, the amount doubles.
In an interview with Auroranews, representatives from the ministry stated that drivers must contact them to receive information on the required documents.
