Cargo Ship Explodes Near Turkey's Black Sea Coast
A cargo ship has exploded near Turkey's Black Sea coast, as reported by Al Hadath on December 25.
The Panama-flagged vessel was loading coal at the port of Trabzon when the incident occurred. It has been noted that 16 individuals were evacuated, and the injured have been hospitalized, while the captain is reported missing.
The cause of the explosion is thought to be a gas leak. The crew was able to call for rescue teams.
Most of the ship's crew are Egyptians, along with citizens from Albania, Georgia, and Ukraine, according to Al Hadath.
